PV Bust- 'Mr. Pebbles'

“Golems come into being in one of two ways. The first and most common way is through arcane binding of Viridian's power to bring an otherwise inert substance to life. The second, happens naturally. When an object or other natural material exists for so long, it eventually gains sentience and begins to move on it's own. How the latter method is achieved is something that few scholars can even come close to fully grasping, but its results are indisputable. There are accounts of mountains in Ghetnfjorn that simply stand up and move before resting again, and villages that have suffered drought due to a river deciding to flow elsewhere.

Of the pirates sworn to the master of the Balewake, there is only one natural golem. 'Mr. Pebbles' is the Void Witch's nickname for her mute first-mate, a particularly odd stone golem that seems be an unending battery of elderitch power that eerily shines the same fetid green as the twilight sky in the dead lands of neighboring Ithzin...”

Number nine is the source of stone that Balefury comes from in all lines of my canon (with Psalm of Viridian being no different...) : Mr. Pebbles. Shar keeps this big mostly harmless lunk of rock around for a number of reasons, but I think the chief reason is so she can decorate him with different seasonal themed eye-patches on different holidays.
